Ways to prevent green house gas emissions!

Ways to reduce green house gas emissions

Green house gasses are gasses that absorb and emit radiant energy within the thermal infrared range, causing the greenhouse effect. The primary greenhouse gases in Earth's atmosphere are water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrogenous oxide, and ozone. Greenhouse gases have far-ranging environmental and health effects. They cause climate change by trapping heat, and they also contribute to respiratory disease from smog and air pollution. Extreme weather, food supply disruptions, and increased wildfires are other effects of climate change caused by greenhouse gases.

There are many easy ways to reduce green house gas emissions. These are things that you can do at home. This way you can also be a tremendous help to the environment wherever you are! First and most importantly are the 3 R’s. They are Reduce, reuse, and recycle. This process can help reduce emissions to a very large amount if a majority of the population follows this. This helps decrease waste pile up and hence reduces green house gas emissions.

There are other small things that you can do at home to help with this global issue. You can insulate your homes, switch to renewable things, try being energy efficient with things like water, power, electricity, etc… Try using your vehicles less often, ad get outside and walk or cycle around. This reduces pollution which therefore reduces green house gas emissions. Hopefully this has helped you realize how easy it is to at least try to make a change in our world. Help cure mother earth!

World Water Day

World Water Day World Water Day is an annual United Nations observance day held on 22 March that highlights the importance of fresh water. The day is used to advocate for the sustainable management of freshwater resources. The theme of each day focuses on topics relevant to clean water, sanitation and hygiene (wash), which is in line with the targets of Sustainable development goal 6. The UN world water development report (WWDR) is released each year around World Water Day.  World Water Day, held on 22 March every year since 1993, celebrates water and raises awareness of the 2.2 billion people living without access to safe water. It is about taking action to tackle the global water crisis. Today, water is under extreme threat from a growing population, increasing demands of agriculture and industry, and the worsening impacts of climate change. As societies balance the demands on water resources, many people’s interests are not being taken into account.  This year ́s theme Worl...
